Ergonomic Training
Ergonomic training provides information regarding the basic overview of the principles of ergonomics, musculoskeletal disorders and ergonomic exercises to avoid the problems within the workplace. Ergonomics training not only covers office ergonomics, but also manual handling training.
Ergonomics training is often carried out by an ergonomic consultant who has experience in safety training. The aim of ergonomic training is to provide employees or management with the knowledge to be able to set up their own working environment in accordance with Occupational health and Safety Legislation.
Ergonomic Training can be carried out individually, in a Train the Trainer scenario, or it can be combined with individual ergonomic assessments, as part of the theory and background component.
Ergonomic Training is usually combined with individual ergonomic assessments, or can be used in conjunction with Ergonomic Software, ErgoAssess.
Ergonomic Education and Training – individual or group basis
- Seminars designed to provide employees with the knowledge they need to prevent musculoskeletal problems
- The aim is to teach good what are optimal working postures, correct workstation setup and thus through early identification injuries may be prevented
- Ergonomic mouse, ergonomic chair, ergonomic keyboards etc are discussed
- The education and training seminars can also be combined with individual workstation assessments
Ergonomic Train the Trainer programs
- Designed for management to be able to conduct basic workstation assessments for employees
- Safety training includes all areas of Occupational Health and Safety Standards
- Assessment of ergonomic mouse, ergonomic keyboard, ergonomic chair and assessments of the workplace generally
