There is also a variety of infill such as synthetic, wool, foam and latex, and feather and down, all of which have there positives and negatives. Probably the cheapest pillows on the market are ones with a synthetic infill, which is most commonly polyester and can start anywhere from $10. Latex pillows can be one of the most expensive as well as goose down.
There are so many pillows that claim to be the best, however this does not always mean that there is scientific evidence to back this claim up. It is recommended that if you have trouble selecting the right pillow or you suffer from pain that you ask your physiotherapist for their guidance. This will assist you in the making the right decision based on your body type and spinal alignment.
As a general rule – select a pillow that is not too high or too hard, make sure that when you lie on it that your spine is straight and it has to be comfortable!
